The two arrow buttons at the right side of the list can be used to change the order. Plugins are applied to the audio in the order they appear in the list starting from top to bottom. Temporarily turning on or off individual pluginsĪ checkbox next to each plugin in the list can be used to turn on or off that plugin. To configure the plugin's settings click Show Editor. If you use Zoom there is only one premixed videosignal (if you use active speaker) and more drastic only one partyline audio, If one Guest, who is in the line but is supposed to speak in the next group, coughs loudly and hasnt muted his mic he will shown up as active speaker and will be heard permanently. You can can decide independently what he gets back for visiual and audio and this for each caller differntly (you are bound to Vmix Audio Busses and the four video outouts) VMix-Call is not an conference it is a direct point to point connection between you and your guest. To all other who mada a suggestion to use skype or zoom: ANd they Recalled each Group via vMix Preset file. They Used three vMix Machines for the call Handling only. The also run a Broadcast facility, The Feature was used in the "Deutscher FIlmpreis" Award Show where multiople goups of nominees was called in for the Award ceromony. The infaormation i have is from "MCI Hamburg" the German vMix Distributer and Vendor. The other machine Recieves NDI only from the calling machine, and is used for the mixing. So one vmix Machine is handling your calls only, and hands them over by NDI. But you can store different calls within a vMix preset file. VMix Call is only csbable of 8 callers per session at once. What you want to do is not directly possible with vMix out of the box. We did encounter a bit of latency between the host of the show and the talent but I feel confident that with a little tweaking that could be overcome.
With some tweaking you can setup audio buses for specific talk backs.
We also used vmix call to create a producer talk back channel.
It might have been better to link our two instances of Vmix via an SRT backbone but it all worked good enough. When it was time for them to join the live show he would send the appropriate Vmix caller back to me through a different instance of Vmix call. My and producer setup a “green room” and organized all the talent with several instances of Vmix call. I handled the host via Vmix call, all the graphics and produced the final output of the show. We achieved this by having a second Vmix instance with another Vmix operator. What we did on a recent show was bring in like 20 different guests to a show.
